WHERE DOES COURAGE COME FROM
Have you ever thought about where courage comes from? Why some people seem to be so courageous and others so timid. Why one person seems to have absolutely no fear and others seem to be afraid of everything.
As the Lord’s children we are under his protection. Do you know as we progress through life serving God that we have angels protecting us? God sends forth His angels to help us, protect us, do battle for us and help keep us along our way. We have been given all the resources to prevail in our lives and we are constantly being prepared for what is to come in our lives. We will all face challenges, we will all be honed to make us strong. The Bible tells us that God is always for us. The Bible tells that Jesus will never leave us or forsake us. The Bible tells us that all things are possible through Jesus. The Bible tells us over and over to be courageous and not be fearful.
DIVINE INSPIRATION
The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalms 27:1
For He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
Psalms 91:11
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
2 Kings 6:16
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Ephesians 6:10
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
2 Timothy 1:7
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:15
STAND FIRM AND THEN STAND SOME MORE
We can lean on Jesus and trust that He will protect us. We are His and we can stand tall amongst the enemy and proclaim who we are. We can stand firm in faith and truth and spread the light that the Lord has given us. We are His and no matter what happens today, no matter the trials, no matter the challenges, no matter the accusations, no matter how big the obstacles we face seem to be in our eyes, they are no match for God and we belong to Him.
