John 10:10 Jesus Say's, "The theif (Satan) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
I was just contemplating the saying: United we stand, divided we fall. I was relating that saying to what’s happening in our county and around the world. It’s obvious the there are people who are actually driven by Satan that believe by dividing people they’ll accomplish whatever their goal is. Satan uses people and he hopes that by dividing them that then God’s agenda will not be reached. Everything that is happening now is a distraction. So many things such painting the police as bad, painting militias as bad, using fear to compel people to act a certain way and dividing people in that realm. The list goes on and on and it’s very evident that Satan and his demons are hard at work, maybe going for broke because they realize they are running out of time. That brings me back to: united we stand and divided we fall. To make it a true statement I modified it a little. United with Jesus we win, and those divided from Him will fall. Satan wants power, and authority and he is willing to lie and deceive or do whatever it takes to get that power and authority. He will use people who don’t know Jesus to the full extent to try to get what he wants. Hence all the turmoil around the world.
REMEMBER
in whose case the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Unfortunately for them, the power and authority they receive through the devices of Satan will be short lived because they are divided from Jesus. Even if they are the most powerful person on earth, without Jesus it is only a muse. If you humble yourself and submit to God and accept Jesus as your savior you’ll gain everlasting strength, power, and authority and you’ll be united with Jesus.
I’m going to say again as I have written about before. We are in full fledged spiritual warfare. As Christians it’s way past time that we all stand up and be recognized as such. We need to take the fight to Satan and no longer give him free reign. How do we take the fight to him? We pray constantly, we know the Truth, Jesus, we must know the Word of God, the Bible, inside and out. We stand firm in the truth knowing that our courage, power, and strength comes straight from Jesus. Do not fear, be courageous and don’t backdown from the truth. And, it’s is absolutely essential that we remember:
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against FLESH AND BLOOD, but against the RULERS, against the AUTHORITIES , against the POWERS OF THIS DARK WORLD and against the SPIRITUAL FORCES OF EVIL in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Do not let your faith falter and know Jesus will not leave you or forsake you. You are His and He will take care of you always.
Isaiah 26:3-4
3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. 4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal.
So please understand, united with Jesus we’ll stand forever, we have a God given mission to accomplish so don’t shy away from it. And, if you are divided from Jesus YOU WILL FALL! Maybe, just maybe, if you don’t know Jesus as your personal savior, today may be a good day to give your life to Him and quit fighting a losing battle.
