Fight The Good Fight

I am on the battlefield and there are angels on my left and on my right 

I’ve donned the Armor of God and I’m ready to fight the good fight

The belt of truth is around my waist 

The Lord is my shepherd and there’s souls at stake so I'll make haste

The breastplate of righteousness is right in place

I shall fear no evil for if God is for me what can evil do to me while I run this race

My Shield of faith is right where it belongs.

I’ll go forth with courage and sing praises to the Lord and worship songs.  

There are no lies that will prosper, that means none!

The Lord is my shepherd and will extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

I have on the helmet of salvation 

Jesus is my redeemer, my sanctuary, my strength and my freedom for I believe in His crucifixion and resurrection 

I carry the sword of the Spirit in my hand and in my heart 

God’s word, promises, truth, faith, and freedom are what sets me apart.

I will stand firm on the Word of God

When I’m knocked down I’ll get up and stand firm still on the Word of God 

My strength comes from the Lord each and every day

Gather the forces and come join the good fight, for this is what I pray

I am a warrior ready to fight the good fight and win

Satan has no place in my life and by God I will not let him in.
