God's Promises
Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord”
Matthew 10:28 (NKJV)
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”.
Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.
Have No Fear
All three on these verses are tied together and form a picture that loudly pronounce, “Have No Fear”. Of course, the book of Isaiah is in the Old Testament and Matthew is in the New Testament and verses are another example of how God is the same yesterday, today and forever. God is faithful, He loves you, and if you choose Him, He adopts you into His Family. Jesus told us, I look at it as a warning, “Fear Not!” over 360 times in the New Testament. Why? I’m convinced it is because He knew that our adversary would use fear to try to get us to do things we generally would not do. He went on to say in Mark 5:36, "Do not be afraid; only believe."
Way to the Father
It’s important that each of us accept Jesus as our personal savior. He actually told us in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”. This is called salvation and to know to gain salvation you must repent of your sins and acknowledge that Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected three days later. It’s as simple as that, but it must come from your heart to be real.
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
There are so many things in this world right now that are probably scary, induce fear, for a lot of people. I could name many off the top of my head, but it doesn’t matter what the fear is, if you know Jesus as your personal savior there is no reason to fear and every reason to be full of gratitude. You should be full of gratitude because you know that Jesus bought and paid for you on the cross and you belong to Him. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and He is your savior and His Father is your Father. It can’t get any better than that. I hope and pray that if you don’t know Jesus as your savior that you choose to accept Him and open the doors to a whole new life and perspective. 🙏
May you always walk in the Truth!
