My Thoughts

It's Biblical not Political

I think many people look to politics to make the changes our country and/or world needs.  We as a  culture tend to forget that politics and politicians are hugely responsible for where we are today.  I say hugely but definitely politicians don’t carry that burden alone.  The quote by Edmund Burke: “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent” says it quite well.  We the people have been silent, lax, even apathetic with our heads buried in the sand among many other things for way too long.  We ignored the red flags or had the thought that someone else would take care of it.  Well, that someone else just didn’t show up.  You take that quote and then couple it with Ezekiel 33:30-32 and between the two it becomes quite apparent that the general populace is content to really do nothing.  As you continue down the path you should also take into consideration Hosea 4:6.  This verse is eye opening in how God explains His people die because of the lack of knowledge and because they have forgotten Him, He’s going to forget their children.  At this point, even with only these few puzzle pieces a dismal picture is being painted.

As a Nation We Need to Repent

As a nation we must repent and put God back into His rightful place over this nation.  You remember, “ One Nation Under God” use to mean something instead of being just a slogan?  I totally believe we are on the fast track to the same fate and Sodom and Gomorrah unless we change our ways as a nation.  There is hope but pride, arrogance, greed, and a slew of other sins need to stop, and this nation needs to repent and change her ways.  The passage in Revelation about the Church of Thyatira, in chapter 2, is a great example of how the church did so many things right, but their fault was that they turned a blind eye to Jezebel.  It’s time, past time, that we all realize we carry a God given purpose and take

I’ll end with my own quote: “If you don’t know Jesus as your personal savior, it’s a good day to get to know Him.”  🙏
