Ecclesiastes 1-9

That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.

God has warned us, He has pleaded with us, He has extended grace and mercy to us, He even gave his Son for us because He loves us so much.  He truly wants a fulfilling relationship with each one of us.  No different the He had with Adam before the fall.  

God warned us in Hosea 4:6 (NLT) by letting us know, “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me.  Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children.”

Look around and really pay attention and you’ll see chaos abounds all around us.  In my 58 years of life, I never imagine I would witness evil at this level ever. I';m also in awe that God chose me, and you, to be here at this time in history. When I say evil, here are a few things I’m referencing: 

1.  Boys and girls being confused so much they believe if you were born a boy, God made a mistake and you can fix it by becoming a girl.  Albeit, a “girl” who can’t have children.   And, vice versa.  Also, confusing them to believe that they really are an animal like a cat or dog.  In my book, this is abuse of the worst kind.   

2. Kicking God out of schools by make prayer frowned upon in 1962 when the Supreme Court ruled that praying in school was unconstitutional.  What?  

3. How about the 1973 Supreme Court ruling that stated that it was legal to murder in the case called Roe vs Wade.

4. Think bout the impact of the 1986  National Childhood Vaccine Act that laced the way to an astronomical amount of vaccines that according to me poison our children and made it possible for the deadly Covid vaccine to be rolled out as a miracle vaccine that is responsible for millions of deaths by certain reports.  

5. The destruction of the family.  Making it seem by influencing young ladies that men are worthless.  This was able to happen because we kicked God out of our country long before this was possible. 

6. Deception is the name of the game.  Intimidation is par for the course to get what most want today.  So many do not a moral compass to direct their path.

7. Selfishness, so many people live a life that is only about themselves and don't have any empathy or compassion for others.

I could go on, but I think you get the point.  I hate to paint such a gloomy picture but it’s is gloomy and every indication is that is going to get worse.  Likely worse than you can imagine.  

It doesn't have to be doom and gloom

BUT, There is a way out of the doom and gloom…

Remember, I mentioned that God pleads for us to recognize where we are, to repent and come back to Him.  He wants us all to return to Him.  He wants us to repent of our sins and our errant ways and accept Who He is as our creator.  If you are not familiar with what I’m referring to, I highly recommend reading the Book of Jeremiah.  In this book,  we are told to repent and remember the Lord and to glorify God not man. Life is not about us but we are here to please God.  We are told to have Faith in God.  God wants all us to come home to Him.  He wants to bless each one of us immensely, He wants a personal relationship with each us.  He’s extending His hand…Are you going to take it?

God is a righteous God

God is a righteous God and fulfills every promise He gave to us.  

We just have to accept His promises and return to Him.  God’s grace and mercy extend way beyond our human imagination that for some it seems unfathomable to be possible.  Or to others, it seems too easy.   There are a few things at play here, pride, lack of knowledge and life experiences that tell us differently.  But, don’t be afraid to humble yourself and go to God and ask Him any question you want and then expect an answer.  Beside grace and mercy, God also gave us His Son to die on the cross to take the punishment for our sins.  God has done His part to secure eternity with Him for all of us.  Where are you, what have you done to secure your own eternity?  I ask because the title of this article says it all, there is nothing new under the Sun and there has been deceit and corruption almost from the beginning of mankind, and if you aren’t wise to the ways of Satan then you could be caught in His snare.  

Jesus said, “ I am the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me”.  John 14:6
