YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS
As I was reading my Bible today, I read Proverbs Chapter 9 and it as if for the first time. More on this in a moment. For the last few months, more now that ever before, things are being revealed to me. Let me explain, I’ve had vision since I was 9 years old and at first the vision were only when I was sleeping. However, the night of my stroke, I also started having waking encounters, AKA visions. When I read, studied and meditated on the Word of God today I couldn't help but think of Acts 2:17-21 NKJV that says, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservantsI will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.” You may wonder what is being revealed tio me. The best way to explain it is that the Bible is speaking to me like never before. I've been reading the Bible for 50+ years so it might seems strange to some what I'm saying. The only way I can rationalize in my finite mind is by relating the Bible to a living person and speaks to us with what we are ready to read, hear and understand. In other words, it's like a relationship with a person. The more time I spend with a person the more they reveal to me and likewise with God and His word.
DON'T IGNORE THE WARNINGS
I know, those are ideas/statements may be hard to digest for some. On yhe opposite end iof the spectrum, they are powerful words and are full of motivation for me. I hope you find it motivational as well. Personally, I see the things that are being revealed to me as a warning for all. Couple the proclamations found in Acts 2:17-21 with my own visions and revelations makes it ring loud and clear that everybody should be paying attention to the Word of God and the time we are living in. I don't know how long the "last days" will last from beginning to end but I've been having visions for nearly 50 years so as I see it, if you don't know Jesus as your savior you're playing Russian Roulette with eternity. Are you getting the jest of what I'm saying?
WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, SALVATION
I started out with that things are being revealed more now than ever and that tells me the end draws nigh. Back to Proverbs 9 because when I read Proverbs 9 today, it spoke to me like never before. It spoke of wisdom as a lady who is pleading for all to know her but so many ignore her pleadings. You and can read verses 1-6 for yourself and makeup your own mind, "Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars; She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table. She has sent out her maidens, She cries out from the highest places of the city, “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him,“Come, eat of my bread And drink of the wine I have mixed. Forsake foolishness and live,
And go in the way of understanding". My Goodness, I have to say it again, "Wisdom" is pleading for everyone to know her because to really live and prosper you need to leave folly behind and accept wisdom. Unfortunately, as I can hear in Wisdom"s plea many choose folly. As I continued to read verse 10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” At this point it became apparent to me why so many chose Folly over Wisdom is because as a culture we have kicked God out. At the same time it brings to forefront of my mind the importance of knowing Jesus as your personal savior. It is also a warning and continues to drive the steak in the ground that time is short. It doesn’t matter how you slice it the days are numbered and drawing to an end. I urgently want you to know is without Jesus there is absolutely no hope but with Jesus there is not only hope but everlasting freedom. If you don’t know Jesus as your personal savior there is no better time than right now to get to know him and acknowledge what He did on the cross for each one of us. Jesus desperately loves you and His heart breaks for those who haven’t accepted Him and God's free gift of grace and mercy. I want to remind everybody the following, "God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only begotten son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have eternal life". If you knew that already, and you haven't accepted Jesus as your personal savior, what are you waiting for? If this is the first time knowing of God's sacrifice for you and you haven't accepted Jesus as your personal savior, what are you waiting for? Repent of your sins, and accept Jesus as your savior. Then begin your walk to strengthen your relationship with Him. Remember, there is no better time than right now and just as a reminder, tomorrow is not guaranteed! In closing, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by accepting Him. In God, may it be so.
