Sharing my testimony, 1st transformation :
I share my testimony almost everyday and some days I get the opportunity to share multiple times. During the testimony when God was literally talking to me, I mention that all fear went away. That moment in time was transformational for me. I was good at acting courageous, but what I didn't let be known was my fear of being rejected by man. That fear went away because I knew at that moment that I wasn't put on this Earth to please or glorify man, but to please and glorify God. My wife and I were life flighted to Seattle for emergency surgery and for the life flight I was put into a coma. When I was brought out of the coma the next day I knew it was my turn to talk to God. I said, “I know what you said to me last night, I know what kind of shape I’m in; not very good, but apparently you have a job for me. Whatever it is, I’m yours”. That was the first time in my life that I 100% submitted to God at a point in my life all I had to give was my willingness. You can read more about this in my book, "My Experiences With The Trinity". you can review at: VonDailey.Com
2nd Transformation just seconds apart:
At that point I ran, figuratively, to Jesus’s arms for strength. I knew, no matter how strong I thought I was, I was not strong enough or equipped enough to deal with the effects of the stroke without Him. This was also a transformation for me. I finally realized I need God the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit even just for my mere existence. But the future is much brighter than just a mere existence because God is all powerful and Philippians 4:13 says it very well, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
What I Know Today:
I know my relationship with God is stronger today than any other time in my life. I know even though my relationship is stronger than it’s ever been, I’ve only scratched the surface of what is possible. The things that I share with people amaze them and on many occasions the response I receive is, “I wish God would talk to me”.
People ask all the time how do you increase your relationship with God?
My question for those people is “How do you know He’s not speaking to you. Did you come to that realization because you don’t hear Him? Do you even recognize His voice? Do you spend time with them, God the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, so you can learn how they talk to you and are able to discern their voice? - John 10:27-30 says, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”
You might ask: "What keeps you from hearing Gods voice"?
Imagine this parabel, "The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature."
Luke 8:14 (NIV)
You can’t hear God if your mind is crowded with other thoughts or concerns—particularly worries, plans, and activities. If you’re always listening to the radio or watching tv, it’s difficult to hear God when he calls. To hear God, you have to eliminate distractions.
Jesus says in Luke 8:7, “Some other seeds fell where thorn bushes grew up and choked the plants” (CEV).
In this story Jesus tells, seeds are planted and begin to grow—but the seeds are in weed-infested soil. So, as the plant grows, the weeds grow up around it. The weeds choke out the life of the plant, and it never bears fruit.
Here’s what Jesus says is the meaning of Luke 8:7: “The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature” (Luke 8:14 NIV).
Three things can choke spiritual growth in your life and keep you from hearing God:
Worry. Worries are weeds. When you’re preoccupied with the problems and pressures of daily living, it’s harder to hear God.
Riches. Are you so busy making a living that you don’t make a life? Working to pay bills for things you don’t need, to get out of unnecessary debt, or to make more money than you actually need can stunt your spiritual growth.
Pleasure. There’s nothing wrong with pleasure, but be careful that you don’t become so busy pursuing fun that you miss God and his plans for your life.
Do you know what’s always true of weeds? You don’t have to cultivate them. They grow automatically. In fact, weeds are a sign of neglect. If you see weeds in your yard or garden, it means you’re not tending it.
It’s the same with your spiritual life. The weeds in your spiritual life show that you’re neglecting time with God.
Spend time each day tending to your spiritual garden. Pluck out the weeds as soon as they appear so they don’t take over the good work God wants to do in you.
What's The greatest Commandment:
Jesus told us that the greatest commandment is, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind". Remember this as you delve into strengthening your relationship with God. Also keep in mind the culture, the environment and all the deception you were born into and live in. Remember, Satan is the God of this world and he’s the father of lies and never new the truth, and he's prowling around to devour you giuven the opportunity. We must think about the things that we taught as true but in reality they were just a lie to take our mind and focus off God. We must acknowledge and remember those things and we must repent and turn to God as a nation and world. we have to realize and acknowledge, without Him, we don’t have a chance. If we are lukewarm and only acknowledging Him but, don't submit, we don’t have a chance to defeat the evil in this world. We must 100% willingly submit to God's will and realize He’s our creator and each of us were put on earth to Glorify Him and help expand the Kingdom of Heaven.
